Berry nice.
Yesterday afternoon Dave and I headed out to Sauvie Island to enjoy the sunshine and do a little berry picking at Columbia Farms. We spent an hour or so staining our fingers in strawberry and blueberry juice. $6.50 was all we spent for the above haul and we enjoyed ourselves so much we might just go again next weekend.

A road trip to Portland.
Last fall I flew from Portland to Denver to accompany one of my favorite people, Lindsay, on her drive to Portland, where she was moving. Upon landing, I hopped in her car with a change of clothes and a backpack full of cameras. Creature of habit.
Bending your arms in all the wrong positions to fit with mine, elbowing you in an attempt to stop your snoring, hogging the sheets that smell of yesterday’s sex, listening to the sounds the morning makes when you just want it to be still. Wish you were here.

A visit to the arboretum with Aya.
Last month I went to Seattle to visit the lovely miss Aya Sato.
We spent a rainy weekend taking polaroids, drinking coffee and eating pho. We also spent a good chunk of times at the arboretum at Volunteer Park. I wouldn’t mind living there.
